Juxtaposition
Juxtaposition is the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect. In most of my photos I portrayed the use of two things which don't make sense in the way they are used in the situation but the second subject is blurred in the background that should be used. For example, I made coffee and I put it in a Dasani water bottle and had some coffee cups blurred in the background, I also did a cup of water with a fork and knife in it, but straws blurred in the background, and then a dress hanging on a pole when there are hangers right next to it, or the guitar using hands instead of the pick which is clearly on the guitar, and finally the Bible app when the two Bibles are right behind it. In some of my photos, like the flower one, I portrayed the use of contrast effect like the definition of juxtaposition and did the classic picture of juxtaposition. In others of my photos I did the use of an object with no particular use of it, for example the candle in daylight, the sunglasses inside, and the clear umbrella in daytime that doesn't block any rain, because there is no rain, and doesn't help with shade because it is clear. I also did two trash cans, one recycle and one regular and swapped the trash for a use of contrasting effect. This project took four hours total to think of ideas and then compose them and edit them, so overall I believe these photos portray the idea of juxtaposition well.
